Keeping it Fresh

Kimball Chilli Sauce: three easy ways to serve it

Simple ideas for serving Kimball Chilli Sauce as a dip, in a wrap or with noodles, plus a reminder to follow your bottle's own label.

A small bowl of chilli sauce can finish a snack plate without another pan or a long ingredient list. Kimball Chilli Sauce 340 g is a ready-to-use condiment for dipping and adding flavour to everyday meals.

Start with a dip on the side

Serve a little alongside vegetable spring rolls, potato wedges or another savoury snack. Keeping the sauce separate lets each person choose how much to add and helps crisp food stay crisp until it is eaten.

Add a small amount to a wrap

Spread a thin layer inside a wrap, then add your own cooked filling and vegetables. Taste before adding more. The pictured bottle's ingredients include sugar, chillies, tomato paste, vinegar and garlic, so account for both sweetness and chilli flavour rather than using it like plain tomato sauce.

Finish a noodle bowl gradually

For a simple serving idea, mix a little sauce into cooked noodles and vegetables, then taste and adjust. Add other seasonings gradually too. The noodles, vegetables and other suggested foods are not included with the sauce.

Check your bottle, not a different recipe version

Read the ingredients, allergen information, best-before date and storage directions on the bottle you receive. The manufacturer's current online recipe differs from the label pictured on Fresh, so use your own bottle's nutrition panel when measuring a portion. We are not treating the two versions as identical.

Use a clean utensil when serving, close the cap after use and follow the bottle's after-opening instructions.
