A drawer is easier to use when the small things you need together stay together. Double-zipper bags give loose items a simple home, while the clear sides help you see what is inside.
Start with one drawer or shelf. Put aside anything sharp or heavy, then choose a bag that closes comfortably around the remaining items.
Match the size to the contents
Talabat lists two sizes also found in Fresh's catalogue:
- Medium double-zipper storage bags: 18 × 21 cm, with 50 bags in the pack.
- Large double-zipper storage bags: 27 × 30 cm, with 40 bags in the pack.
Use these dimensions as a starting point, then check the actual fit. A bulky object takes up space in more than one direction. Leave room above the contents so both zipper tracks meet without stretching the bag.
Make one useful group per bag
Try grouping spare buttons with their matching thread, a set of gift tags with ribbon, or the small accessories belonging to one device. Keep items clean and dry, and give each group a short label you will recognise later.
For device accessories, include the device name or model on the label. Keep batteries in their original packaging or a suitable battery case rather than loose in a bag. Store pointed tools and heavy parts in a more suitable container.
Check both zipper tracks
Clear the opening of anything caught near the seal. Align the zipper tracks and press along their full width, then check the corners. If the contents keep pushing the opening apart, move to a larger bag or split the group.
Arrange the closed bags upright in a small drawer divider or shallow box, with labels facing the same way. Put frequently used groups at the front so you can take out one bag without emptying the drawer.
Keep the pack instructions handy
Read the packaging before using a bag for food or a temperature-sensitive job. Check explicit suitability before freezing, heating or microwaving; the size and double zipper alone do not establish those uses. Keep plastic bags away from babies and children.
