TESSAN travel adapter: three checks before you pack

A practical packing checklist for the TESSAN 28W travel adapter: check socket shape, appliance voltage and your USB charging needs.

A travel adapter deserves a place on your packing checklist, not a last-minute guess at the airport. The TESSAN 28W travel adapter brings one AC outlet and five USB ports together. Before packing it, make three checks.

1. Match the socket, then check the voltage

This adapter has selectable Type A, C, G and I plug formats. Check the socket at your destination rather than assuming “universal” covers every outlet.

It is a plug adapter, not a voltage converter. An appliance connected to the AC outlet must support the destination’s supply voltage. Read its input label and the adapter’s instructions before use. The AC limit is 10A: the advertised 2500W applies at 250V, not at every voltage.

2. Plan your USB connections

There are three USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. The 28W USB rating is shared across the ports, not available from each one. Check your devices’ charging requirements instead of treating the port count as a charging-speed promise.

3. Pack the cables you actually use

Make a short list of the devices coming with you. Put their matching cables in the same pouch as the adapter, then remove duplicates you do not need. Keep a photo of hard-to-read device labels for reference, but follow the original labels and instructions.
